This September, we had the pleasure of hosting Jennifer Beck, the celebrated New Zealand author of My Mum is Queen of the Road, at our Auckland factory. It was a fantastic opportunity for her to meet the team and see how signs are made. Johnny Lendrum from our Products Team gave Jennifer and her husband, Peter, a tour of the factory. Peter, an ex-engineer, was especially intrigued by the design and fabrication processes. Johnny showcased the diverse roles our team plays in making it all happen.

Jennifer shared with the team, that her book was inspired by her dad's lesson that everyone matters. She wanted to highlight the hard work of road workers who brave all kinds of weather to keep us moving safely.

RTL Team met Jennifer at the TARMAC 2024 Conference. They went above and beyond, even helped distribute her books to attendees, spreading her message of appreciation for all workers.
