We love working on cool innovations. Check out our recent involvement with the innovative winning Road Closure Trailer designed for the Auckland Motorway Network. Our team was delighted to have the opportunity to work on this unique and award-winning trailer design from Heb Construction and Ten4.

RTL was engaged to produce the custom signage and application of the signs in our Maurice Road factory. It was important to get the high visibility reflective signage correctly measured and applied to maximise visibility from all angles, particularly critical for a system designed to protect workers across multiple motorway lanes.

Special shoutout to Marty from our design team for his design work on a something quite new and unusual for us. The accuracy was on point!

For this important project, we also trusted our go-to resident signmaker and Roadworker of the Week (February 2025), Jonny, for his expertise to deliver sign making and application experience that lives up to the quality of the trailer. 

All our team  were pretty impressed with such an innovative design especially considering the trailer can cover from one lane all the way up to six lanes when fully deployed!
