RTL was pleased to be part of the Isaac Construction Golf Day held at the beautiful McLeans Island Golf Club in March 2026, supporting MATES in Construction, an organisation focused on improving mental health and wellbeing across the construction industry.

MATES works with businesses and workers on sites across the country to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention, encouraging people to speak up and support their mates both on and off the job. It was great to meet some of the local MATES team on the day, including Price, whose passion for connecting with people really stood out.

Candice and Aimee from RTL Christchurch attended the day, joined by Johnny Lendrum from our Auckland office. RTL also sponsored the coffee cart and the morning BBQ to keep everyone fuelled before heading out on the course - both went down a treat. The day also provided an opportunity to take some time and connect with the wider Isaac team and others from across the industry.

A special thanks to Chelle Burns from Isaac Construction, one of the organisers of the event, for bringing the day together. With a strong turnout and a bright Christchurch day, it was good to see the industry come together in support of an important cause.
