The A absorber aka Module A is the first line of defence in an impact with a Scorpion Attenuator. This module is common amongst all MASH Scorpion Attenuators attenuators apart from the MASH METRO SLIM aka Baby Scorp.

Whilst damage from impacts is the most obvious and will get the most focus - It is critical that you keep an eye on nuisance damage as well, which may occur from errors in backing up. When you observe any such damage as part of your daily checks, no matter how small, please get in touch with RTL. We will check your pictures/ assess the unit for you and give you guidance on how to go forward.

RTL prides ourselves on healthy stock on hand for repairs so your truck is not off the road for extended periods. We stock A Absorbers in Auckland for quick and easy repairs to minimise downtime. It takes us 2hrs to remove and install a new Absorber in our Auckland branch. We are also able to support your workshop on removing and installing the Absorber remotely.

If you have any cosmetic damage we also offer a retrofit sheeting product with reflective applied. This is not suitable for serious damage, but is a good solution for keeping the equipment looking good and taking pride in your gear. 

The A Absorber is checked during any repairs or service RTL carries out for you and is a critical part of our PMA and recertification checks.
