It was our pleasure to host Neil and Anna from Solar Gates UK in July. Solar Gates, based in the United Kingdom, manufacture the Instaboom range of mobile stop go units and barrier arms. As the New Zealand Agent, we had the privilege of showing them the positive impact the instaboom range is making to traffic management and managing traffic at site access points in Aotearoa. The visit was jam-packed; including customer visits to Hawkins site at Auckland International Airport and up to Fulton Hogan SH1 Brynderwyn Road Closure, getting to see the Instaboom Grande Barriers in action.

Based on the feedback provided by the sites we visited, the barriers has been well-received by customers. Customers have expressed their belief in the product and have witnessed the benefits of making traditional STOP GO operations safer and more efficient.

1. The impact of the Instaboom boom arms can be seen immediately on site, as customers have reportedly shared how the product has made a difference to their staff and motorists
2. This positive feedback underscores the value and effectiveness of the Instaboom range in real-world applications.
3.  The four metre arm with stop sign, provides visible deterrent for drivers approaching the site.
4. Positive feedback on RTL's care, technical expertise and parts holding

Between visits, the Products and Marketing Team hosted a number of training sessions for our staff, including customer services, tech team and stores and dispatch. All the teams found the training very informative, and to receive directly from the supplier was an added bonus.

It’s always nice to be educated about a product when the person is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The technology is really cool and would surely add a lot of benefits for wherever they may be used around Auckland and further in New Zealand”.
