TARMAC '24 Showcases the Future of Temporary Traffic Management in New Zealand
The annual TARMAC Conference, for the temporary traffic management (TTM) industry in New Zealand, was held at the Claudelands Arena in Hamilton on July 22nd, 2024.
The conference, brought together a diverse range of stakeholders to explore the latest advancements and best practices in risk-based TTM. One of the highlights of the conference is the exhibitor showcase, where attendees engage with leading TTM suppliers and service providers.
"Our stand was inspired by our love for the iconic Kea bird, which is known for its intelligence and adaptability - qualities that we strive to embody in our products and services," "We also show cased our new TripleSign Prism VMS which is more cost and energy effective vs LED signage. On our stand we took customers through our code finder tool and sign specification's page.
Our Service Department registered interest in a a series of technical training sessions and recertification workshops, emphasizing the importance of proper maintenance and safety checks. “With the market being quieter than usual, we think this is a great opportunity for our customers to take the time to upskill their teams on repairs and maintenance ensuring the longevity of TTM equipment.
The conference culminated in a TTM mixer, where attendees had the opportunity to unwind and celebrate their hard work. "After a challenging year, it was wonderful to come together as a community and simply enjoy each other's company," said Joanne McMahon. "The energy and camaraderie at the mixer were truly inspiring, and it was a fitting way to cap off a successful TARMAC event."
