Mobile Speed Radar Sign

RTL Mobile Radar Signs are portable, tripod-mounted speed feedback units designed to actively influence driver behaviour and reduce speeds across temporary traffic management, roadworks, and civil construction environments throughout New Zealand. Managing vehicle speed is a constant challenge on live sites. Our Mobile Radar Signs provide a practical way to prompt drivers to slow down and maintain lower speeds through worksites.

The radar detects approaching vehicles and instantly displays either the set speed limit or the vehicles actual speed, depending on the selected operating mode. If the vehicle is travelling above the set speed, red legends are displayed with a flashing SLOW DOWN message.

The unit is quick to deploy and easily configured by a single operator. Battery-powered operation (13-20 hours typical use), while onboard data capture records up to 10,000 vehicle movements for download and review for further analysis.
