RS6 Kura School Static Variable Sign

RS6 or R1-6.1 Kura School static variable with Speed limit is one of the first bilingual signs rolled out by Waka Kotahi in 2022 under the Traffic Control Devices (Kura/School Signs) Amendment 2022.
The regulatory sign and supplementary warning sign are on a single white reflective backing board. Kura, the Te Reo Maori word for school, is in a bold font, above the English spelling.
The Highest speed limit is the number of km/h shown on the sign that applies to a road outside a school during the time specified. Must only be used on No exit or Give-way or Stop sign controlled side roads adjacent to the school zone signed by R1-6 signs.
Note: only a speed value of 60 or less that is appropriate to a road outside a school can be used with this sign.
