RS55.1 Safer Speed Area Signs

RS55.1 R1-5.5.1 Safer Speed Area Threshold Signs are part of a national road safety initiative aimed at making streets safer. Threshold Signs are installed at key entrances to the areas to create an area . There are three sizes available for the speed limit signage, which is determined by the approach speed.

The speed limit shown on the sign has been set in accordance with Safe System principles and applies to the roads in the area beyond the sign.

Available Blue or Green Background (please specify) in the following sizes:
750 x 1200 mm (approach speed < 60 km/h)
900 x 1500 mm (approach speed 60 80 km/h)
1200 x 2000 mm (approach speed > 80 km/h)

NOTE:
