The RD6L Keep Left Single Disc Sign (also known as RG17 or R3-13) is used to direct drivers to pass to the left of a traffic island or obstruction. The sign is typically installed at or near the nose of a physical traffic island and faces approaching traffic. The RG-17 sign is commonly used at median islands, splitter islands, channelised intersections and roadwork layouts where traffic must pass to the left of an island nose. It provides clear directional guidance and helps maintain safe vehicle movement around fixed traffic features.
Panel-only versions (without a channel) can also be installed and orientated as an RG-34 Keep Right sign where required.
