Kilometre Marker Post
TCD Code LR-KMP MOTSAM RM-30
Kilometre marker posts (KMP) are placed at approximately 1 km intervals on the left hand side of the road. A black band indicates that a KMP is a proximity flag only, and cannot be used for accurate measurements. The example (image) indicates that you are approximately 12 km past RS 260.
Graphics are applied to our Slim-Pro PVC Edge Marker Post. Options include Single Sided, Double Sided and Double Sided with Two Sheilds.
Used in conjunction with Reference Station Signs (LR-RS), Ramp Reference Station Signs (LR-RS-R) and Established Route Positions (LR-ERP). Please refer to the NZTA Location Referencing Management System (LRMS) Manual for more information.
