Ground Sockets

Ground Sockets are installed into the ground and utilise a grub screw to retain the post in the ground. All ground sockets are manufactured from strong structural grade 6261 T5 or T6 alloy and are powder coated to prevent corrosive attack of the aluminium by the concrete.
When installing the socket, there should be no more than 30-60mm showing above ground level. Security locking screws should be orientated in the direction of the sign face and torqued to 18Nm2.
