T218 or TW02.8 Temporary Warning No Road Marking Road Signs, referred to as a W2-1.8 Sign in the TCD Rule, is a supplementary plate, used in situations where road markings have been obliterated due to road work operations such as pavement water blasting or cutting and where use of the New Seal sign is inappropriate because it displays flying stones and a broken windscreen. The TW-2.8 No Road Marking Traffic Sign is used underneath a T2 TW-2 Other Hazard Sign and available for Level One or Level 2/3 New Zealand Roads for Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) and is in the Waka Kotahi Code of Practice (CoPTTM).
