What a mint winters day for the opening of this bike park in Dunedin. We love seeing young people learning about road safety and being encouraged to try active modes like cycling and walking, in a safe and supportive space. RTL is delighted to have played a small part with the supply of LED Tactile Pavers by Vivacity Smart Lighting into this project. 

We supplied 6 LED Tactile pavers which were connected up to the control lights on either side of the pedestrian crossing. This is the first installation of it's kind in New Zealand and we super proud to have such an amazing space to showcase the safety benefits of this innovative technology.

RTL and Vivacity Lighting worked closely with the project ITS Electrician, Hamish Watson from Downer on the delivery of this part of the project.
