WU1 Pedestrians Sign
TCD Code WU1 MOTSAM PW-29 TCD Rule W16-1
W16-1 / WU1 Pedestrians Road Signs are used where there is a likely presence of considerable numbers of pedestrians that creates a hazard. The Warning Sign consists of a PEDESTRIAN symbol displayed on a standard PW diamond sign plate. The old Motsam Code was PW-29.
If the majority of pedestrians at the location are elderly, an AGED supplementary can be used underneath the Pedestrians Sign. For areas with school children a WU2 / W16-4 Children Sign must be used instead.
All WU Warning - Non Motorised signs should be made with VFL Fluorescent Lime/ Yellow reflective.
