Roundabout Chevron (Black on Yellow)
TCD Code WYR2 MOTSAM PW-69 TCD Rule W20-1.3 Alternative
W20-1.3 Roundabout Chevron Signs (Black on Yellow), also known as PW69 or WYR2, are used on roundabout central islands to provide clear directional guidance to approaching drivers.
These road signs feature black chevrons on a yellow background for high visibility on the approach to a roundabout. Please specify the required chevron direction at time of order.
Note:
As per NZTA TCD Part 4 - Intersections (Pg 86), the minimum W20-1.3 sign size is 1200mm x 450mm, with sign size to be appropriate to the approach speed. For rural roundabouts, a larger 2400mm x 900mm sign is preferred.
