WU26 Kohanga Reo Supplementary Sign

WU26 or W16-5.4 Kohanga Reo Supplementary Road Sign is used in close proximity to a Kohanga Reo early childhood education/ kindergarten/ preschool where education, care and lessons are conducted in te reo Maori. The Kohanga Reo supplementary signs are used underneath either a WU3 Pedestrian Crossing Sign or WU2 Children Crossing Sign.
The Kohanga Reo Supplementary is one of the first bilingual traffic signs rolled out by Waka Kotahi in 2023 under the Traffic Control Devices rule.
All WU Warning - Non Motorised signs should be made with VFL Fluorescent Lime/ Yellow reflective.
