Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) Changeout Services at RTL

RTL has received numerous inquiries about converting existing truck mounted attenuator systems to Scorpion models. Several organisations are looking to update their TMAs to align with current preferences and standards. While truck chassis are specifically configured for different attenuator brands, RTL has embraced this technical challenge, to make them suitable for an upgrade to a Scorpion Attenuator model. In response to this growing demand, we have developed a comprehensive TMA changeout service to help clients transition smoothly to their preferred systems. This service is run by our expert technical team in collaboration with our nationwide partners - under the guidance of our Technical Manager Shane Murray.
Successful Scorpion Truck Mounted Attenuator Installations
We have recently completed several successful conversions:
- Blade to Scorpion TL3 changeout in Wellington following impact damage, with the customer opting for a Scorpion replacement (completed in partnership with All Auto)
- Two ongoing Auckland projects:
- Alpha to MASH Metro conversion
- Blade to Scorpion C90 conversion
These Auckland projects are being delivered in collaboration with our engineering partners at Morgan Engineering.
