Scorpion TMA Inspection Service

RTL has an Inhouse Scorpion Attenuator Inspection programme. Inspections include both an annual and post impact assessment and includes all models of TL-2 and TL-3 Scorpion Attenuators distributed by RTL in Aotearoa New Zealand. This covers the original Scorpion NCHRP-350 TL-2 and TL-3 units and Scorpion II MASH Units, including the TL-2 Metro, TL-3 C-90 and Model C Range.

The Scorpion Attenuator Inspection is carried out by a RTL technician to properly assess your equipment to make sure it is fit for purpose. This is important part of our Preventative Maintenance plans that gives you peace of mind that the equipment is in working order and will protect your work crew and road users in the event of an impact.
