Pre-Filled Sandbags 18kg - 200 GSM HDPE

RTL pre-filled sandbags are used across New Zealand to stabilise temporary traffic management equipment, road works signage and event infrastructure. Supplied filled and ready for deployment, these bags provide a quick and practical ballast solution when setting up temporary signage, cones, portable traffic lights and temporary fencing.

Manufactured from 200 GSM woven HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), RTL sandbags are UV stabilised for outdoor use and features a textured woven surface that helps reduce slipping when used with portable equipment. This heavier construction provides greater tear resistance and durability compared with lower GSM sandbags.

Each bag typically weighs around 18-20kg when filled, providing stable ballast for portable equipment commonly used across traffic management, construction and event setups. They are also widely used with Level 2/3 sign stands (HKL bases), typically with one sandbag placed on each leg of the base.
